Damn We Cold.

Our City. Our Concrete Culture. Our Music............

..............Damn We Cold

A music video treatment by Paul John. Producing new material for various viewers in a form that is most unique to the rollerblading industry. Starring- Alex Broskow, GL Joe, Michael Collins, Paul John, Rory Melehan, Mathias St. John, Matt Luda, Travis Rhodes, and Casey Bohrnell. The Art of Noise was originally formed as a Avant-garde synth pop group in 1983 by producer Trevor Horn. The song "Moments in love" has been modernized by many, but dopely remastered by The Cool Kids. "Gone Fishing" in stores now! HYSTK © have you seen these kids ?

'Drew Says: A short while back I teamed up with Drew from Enstrumental and Raphael Nash fromEndangered Peace to pay homage to the 1995 finale of Yo! MTV Raps, where they had a room full of elite rappers passing the mic around in a giant cypher. You may remember it: Meth, Red, MC Serch, Rakim, Erick Sermon, etc, etc were all in attendance.

Well, in 2009 we assembled a group of Chicago emcees to come together in the same room at the same time to create what we've titled 'The GO! Experiment'.

Rhymefest, Mikkey Halsted, Naledge, Really Doe, J. Ivy, Pugs Atomz, Mick Luter, Mic Terror, Project Mayhem, Cold Hard (of Crucial Conflict), Phil G, YP, Bighomie Doe, Vic Spencer, Big Wiz, Shayla G, Teefa, Twone Gabz, The Primeridian, The Rocketeers, Mike 100s, Vic Mensah and many more all showed up to spit. Jay iLLa spun the entire event, and featured nothing but classic Windy City instrumentals. Leaders 1354 let us have the event at their Wells location, and PHLI's Dave Jeff was nice enought to host it.

It was definitely an Experiment, to say the least. Trying to get rappers (especiallyChicago rappers) in the same place at the same time is no easy task, but plenty of people came out and showed love. The vibe in the room was in incredible and I'm not sure it's something that could even be captured by the video. This is a new day for Chicago Hip Hop, and I'm proud to be a part of it.

We'll be doing an event to screen the "movie" in the very near future, so please stay tuned, and for now enjoy the trailer.
